What melis-kat.gr collects, why, who sees it and what your rights are under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- Contact form: your email and message, and optionally your name and subject. The form sends them as an email to info@melis-kat.gr so we can reply and prepare your quote. The website doesn’t store them. Legal basis: your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Phone and email: whatever details you give us, for the same purpose.
- Security: when you send the form we use your IP address to block mass submissions, and Cloudflare Turnstile to check you aren’t an automated program. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics measures which pages are read and how fast they load (page, referrer, device, country). It doesn’t identify you individually. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Errors: if something doesn’t work, Sentry records what went wrong, on which page and in which browser, with no personal data. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t sell it.
Who has access
Only our team, and the providers who serve us:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, Turnstile and statistics.
- Socratech: website development and delivery of form messages.
- Zoho Mail (EU servers): our email, where your messages arrive.
- Sentry: technical error logging.
Cloudflare and Sentry may process data outside the EU, under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Messages and quote requests, in our inbox: as long as needed to reply. If we work together, as long as tax law requires.
- Form logs (IP, time, browser): up to 7 days.
- Error reports (Sentry): up to 90 days.
- Statistics: totals only, with no personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data, or object to its processing. Socratech handles requests about your data on our behalf: privacy@socratech.gr. We reply within one month, free of charge.
You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr). We would appreciate the chance to put it right first, though.
Changes
If any of the above changes, we will update this page and its date.
